Sphere: This is the spherical power of your prescription, this tells us whether you are short or long sighted and by how much. This can also be Plano or Zero in some cases.
Cylinder: This is a measurement of astigmatism (toric) it can vary from prescription to prescription and eye to eye. It can be written as plano or missing from your prescription.
If it has a value for one eye then it must also contain the next element called axis.
Axis: This is the direction of the cylinder - it has a value of 1 to 180 and is measured in degrees.
Date of Prescription: Your prescription needs to be dated within two years of today. We cannot process your order if this isn't the case.
Pupillary Distance: This is a millimeter measurement from the center of one pupil to the center of the other.
